It just seems like, right off the bat, a Bunch of Members went to the Eugene Sportsman Show >>> Followed by, us having Breakfast & enjoying Casey Deckard & Dean Fleck’s Presentations >>> Followed by, a successful 5 Station Installation of ODFW Monofilament Line Recycling Stations >>> Followed by, recognizing Charlie Currey as our most Senior Member >>> Followed by, Chief Tom Mc Adams giving us “The Willies” about Hypothermia >>> Followed by, a Fun “Fish Along” at Big Creek >>> Followed by a very successful Beverly Beach Patrol >>> Followed by, The ODFW Rock Fish Tagging Program …… Did I mention,
Well Pard, you know this all happened because a lot of great folks got involved in all of these various Club Events & Activities. I suppose you heard about Frank Stout’s proposal for All Club Members to kick-In some Big Bucks to the Coffee Fund, which would allow the Club to buy a “Very Spiffy” & “Very Expensive” Fishing Boat. This proposal is still “Tabled” …. It may never see the light of day, but you got to hand it to Frank & Big Fish, they have got their priorities straight !!!! Wayde Dudley was the Ram Rod on the “Post Hole Gangs” Mono Line Station Installation. I need to mention the Gracious Hospitality extended to all of the “Post Hole Gang” by Don & Jean Larsen, who inviting all of us to have Coffee & Cookies at their home, before we went out on the Installation Trail …. Special Thanks to the Larsen’s !!! A Great 90th Birthday Party was held for The Editor (Aka Charlie Currey). Marilyn & Bob Breakfield were instrumental in making that happen along with some help from our friend Donna Pierce ….. Special Thanks to you all. I want to give Brian Hudson & Butch Minich …. Atta Boys …. for their efforts to make our 1st Big Creek FAL a Fun Event >>> Special Thanks to you Butch for bringing your Boats !!!! As You All can see from the recently published Monthly Event Schedule, we have our fun Monthly Breakfast to look forward too ++ The General (Aka, Brian Hudson) has us set up for our 2nd FAL at Olalla Lake. As it relates to Papa Pickle (Aka, Dick Garvey) ….. Dick, we will keep you & Bev in our “Good Thoughts” & look forward to your safe return to LVH & our Club Activities.
